take the CO.TRA.L bus near the Bus Arrivals to the “Anagnina” underground station, from which you should then take the underground to Roma Termini station. From here you can take the underground-line B or bus number 75 or 204 up to “Metro Cavour” for a 1 hour ride. you can get a taxi (about 9 Euro) or take the underground-line B or bus number 75 or 204 up to “Metro Cavour” for a 10 minutes ride. After getting out from the underground cross via Cavour and go down the stairs that will take you to Piazza della Suburra. The apartment is on the square, in via Leonina n° 43. | |
The apartment is located in the Monti district, in Via Leonina 37, on the second floor. Monti is one of Rome’s most ancient districts. In ancient times this is where the Roman Legions would be accommodated, while today, with its alleys and narrow winding streets, its is one of the most charming and picturesque areas of the city.
This is the heart of ancient Rome, just a few minutes’ walk away from the Colosseum and the Roman Forum.
You can easily walk around the historic centre from here or get about by public transport; there is an underground station only 20 metres away, while the Electric Bus n. 117, which will take you to the Spanish Steps and the via del Corso in a few minutes, stops nearby.
