From Termini train station take either a taxi to the apartment or Bus 40 for 2 stops alighting at "Quirinale / Nazionale" bus stop which lies approximately 50 metres from the apartment. The journey takes approximately 20 minutes.
From Roma Tiburtina railway station take the Underground "B" for 4 stops until Termini stop, then follow the above direction or take a taxi straight to the apartment. | |
Leading from Piazza della Repubblica (Linea A underground railway station) to Piazza Venezia, Via Nazionale passes close to both the Italian presidential palace (the Quirinale) and the recently restored former stables of the Quirinale which are now home to one of Italy’s finest art galleries (Scuderie del Quirinale) and is one of the busiest shopping streets in Rome.
The apartment is perfectly located for guests wishing to visit the Colosseum, the Imperial Forum, the Trevi fountain and the Spanish Steps, all of which can be easily reached on foot.
The lively Monti district in which the apartment is located, halfway between Via Nazionale and Via Cavour, offers ample opportunity to spend many pleasant evenings in traditional Roman restaurants or fashionable bars.
The area is extremely well connected by both bus (the bus stop is just a few yards from the apartment) and underground railway to all of Rome’s most important tourist attractions.
