take the city train to Stazione Termini, from where you can take the bus number 714 toward “Colombo” for 8 stops up to “Largo Amba Aradam” for a 1 hour ride. From here go along Via dell’Amba Aradam up to piazza Porta Metronia and after a short distance you’ll find Via dei Valeri on the right.
