From “Fiumicino” Rome Airport

TRAIN. From the terminal, follow the signs for the Stazione Ferroviaria and, once you arrive, purchase tickets from the ticket booth for the Treno Metropolitano going to Roma Tiburtina; it arrives at track 3 (binario 3). Don’t take the direct train for Termini! Get off at the 7th stop (Trastevere) then take the first train that leaves from tracks 2 or 6 (binario 2 or 6). Get off at the second stop (San Pietro). The apartments are just in front of the station. A ticket for this trains costs 5 Euro (free for children up to 10 years).
TAXI. Fare 40 Euro. Ask the for special fix rate from the airport ! Roman taxis are usually small and will not hold more than 2-3 persons with luggage.
TRANSFER WITH PRIVATE VAN. By reservation only, depending on availability. The cost is 15 Euro per person one way (60 Euro minimum fee). Buses are available in various sizes that for up to 50 persons.
From “Ciampino” Rome Airport

PUBLIC TRANSPORT. Take the bus to Anagnina (Underground terminus). Once there take the subway (Line A). Get off at Termini Station. Take bus n. 64 and get off at the terminus (Stazione San Pietro). The apartments are just in front (2 Euro in total, free for children up to 10 years).
There is also a bus service reserved for clients of Ryanair and Easy Jet (Terravision Express Shuttle) that will take you directly to the Termini train station. A ticket for the bus costs 8 Euro one way and 12.50 Euro round trip (tickets can only be purchased at Ciampino); then you need the 64 bus tichet (1 Euro).

From Highway A1 (Milano-Napoli)

FROM THE CENTRE OF ROME (5 minutes): From Piazza Navona take Corso Vittorio to the right. Cross over the river on Ponte Vittorio Emanuele II. Take Via della Concilazione to St. Peter’s Basilica. Follow the road keeping the columns to your right. When you arrive at the stoplight of Largo di Porta Cavalleggeri turn right and keep on going for about 200 metres (600 yards). Just before the large bridge in front of you, at the stoplight, turn left onto Via del Crocefisso, that turns into Via Innocenzo III (follow the signs indicating “Stazione di Roma San Pietro). The apartments are directly in front of the train station Roma San Pietro.
From FIRENZE (A1) (using the A1, 45 minutes from the Roma Nord toll booth): As you leave the A1 toll road, follow the signs indicating “Fiano-Roma Centro-GRA (Grande Raccordo Anulare) and follow the highway for about 21 kilometers (about 13 miles). When you reach the GRA (Grande Raccordo Anulare) follow the signs indication Fiumicino (A12)/Civitavecchia/(E80). Keep going for about 20 kilometers (about 9.5-10 miles) and get in the lane for Exit 1 (Uscita 1). Take Exit 1 (Usicta 1) following the signs for Via Aurelia direzione Centro. Take Via Aurelia for about 4.5 kilometers (around 3 miles) until you get to Largo Caravillani. Turn right onto Circonvallazione Aurelia for about 200 yards. As soon as you get to Piazza di Villa Carpegna take the road on the left going downhill (Via Gregorio VII) and follow it for about 600 yards until you arrive at Piazza Pio XI. Once you’ve arrived at the Piazza, cross it and follow Via Gregorio VII for about 1.3 kilometers (a little over half a mile). As soon as you’ve gone under a large bridge, turn right onto Via del Crocefisso, that turns into Via Innocenzo III (follow the signs indicating “Stazione di Roma San Pietro). From CIVITAVECCHIA (A12): Stay on the highway until you arrive at the end where it joins with the highway marked Autostrada Roma-Aeroporto di Fiumicino. Then continue towards Rome and keep on the highway for about another 6 kilometers (around 3 miles). At the intersection with the GRA (Grande Raccordo Anulare) take the GRA following the directions for Firenze-Aurelia-Citta’ del Vaticano. Keep going for about another 6 kilometers (around 3 miles). Take Exit 1 (Uscita 1) following the signs for Via Aurelia direzione Centro. Take Via Aurelia for about 4.5 kilometers (around 3 miles) until you get to Largo Caravillani. Turn right onto Circonvallazione Aurelia for about 200 yards. Take Exit 1 (Uscita 1) following the signs for Via Aurelia direzione Centro. Take Via Aurelia for about 4.5 kilometers (around 3 miles) until you get to Largo Caravillani. Turn right onto Circonvallazione Aurelia for about 200 yards.
